VISION

Applied Electronics, nurturing research-proficient, ethically responsible, and innovation-driven engineers who advance the frontiers of Applied Electronics through specialised knowledge, rigorous research, and technical leadership, contributing to the growth of industry and academia, guided by the Invest in Yourself (IIY)
MISSION
M1 Advanced Education To impart advanced education in Applied Electronics through the IIY technique, equipping engineers with specialised domain expertise, research capabilities, and professional acumen to excel in industry, R&D organisations, and higher academic pursuits.
M2 Research & Innovation To nurture with the ability to investigate, design, and develop innovative solutions in areas of VLSI design, signal processing, embedded systems, sensor technologies, and applied electronics research.
M3 Leadership & Society To develop research leaders and technology entrepreneurs who contribute meaningfully to advancements in electronics industries, R&D establishments, and academic institutions, guided by ethical and professional values.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)
- An ability to independently carry out research/investigation and development work to solve practical problems
- An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.
- Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.
- To critically evaluate the design and provide optimal solutions to problem areas in advanced signal processing, consumer and automotive systems, embedded systems, and VLSI design.
- To enhance and develop electronic systems, protocols between circuits using modern engineering hardware and software tools
- To acquire knowledge of fundamentals of power electronics, power management, wireless, power supply circuits, RF circuits, and FPGA circuits

- Able to design and develop advanced electronic systems using state-of-the-art tools and technologies, contributing innovative solutions to real-world challenges in industries like healthcare, communication, and automation.
- Graduates will excel in research and development, using the IIY approach to solve complex problems, publish in high-impact journals, or develop patents, thereby contributing to academia and industry-driven R&D.
