Institution's Innovation Council
The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, has established the MoE’s Innovation Council (MIC) to foster a culture of innovation across Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). As part of this initiative, MIC has created Institute Innovation Council (IIC) within selected HEIs. These cells play a crucial role in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, creating a supportive ecosystem on campuses.
IIC aims to create a thriving innovation ecosystem within educational institutions, promoting academic and entrepreneurial excellence.

Functions of IIC
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship Activities: Organizing activities related to innovation, intellectual property rights (IPR), and entrepreneurship.
- Identify and Reward Innovations: Recognizing and rewarding innovative projects and sharing success stories.
- Workshops and Interactions: Hosting workshops, seminars, and sessions with entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals.
- Networking: Building connections with peer institutions and national entrepreneurship organizations.
- Innovation Portal: Showcasing innovative projects by faculty and students.
- Competitions and Challenges: Conducting hackathons, idea competitions, mini-challenges, and other industry-involved events.
