Indian Society for Technical Education
The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is a national, professional, non-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. Initially founded in 1941 as the Association of Principals of Technical Institutions (APTI), it was rebranded in 1968 to expand its mission and promote technological education in India. ISTE's primary goal is to support and contribute to the development of high-quality professional engineers and technicians needed by industries and other organizations.
The ISTE Faculty Chapter at CK College of Engineering and Technology (CKCET) was established in 2010. It is dedicated to enhancing the professional growth of its members. Currently, 84 faculty members at CKCET hold ISTE memberships. The chapter has successfully received grants to conduct workshops and conferences, emphasizing its commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
The CKCET ISTE Chapter provides quality training for educators and administrators, assisting them in updating their knowledge and skills. Faculty members benefit from programs designed to enhance teaching skills and overall professional development.
